On February 2, 2014, in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Sébastien Sasseville began a cross-Canada run: a 7,500 kilometer journey, equivalent to 180 marathons in nine months. The run ended in Vancouver, BC, on November 14, World Diabetes Day.

Sébastien’s keynotes show that if you put one foot in front of the other, there’s no limit to how far you can go
Five or six marathons a week, a loaded media schedule, over 40 public events, and the filming of a documentary, the run across Canada was a wild ride. The goal of the run across Canada was to inspire, educate, and empower those living with diabetes — and Sébastien achieved it many times over.
